– Potencial Agro’s new soybean crushing plant is a milestone in technology and productivity for the renewable energy sector in Brazil.
– In addition to consolidating a leading role in the decarbonization of the economy, the investment promotes state development through the internal processing of part of the soybean produced in Paraná.
– Soybean meal and soybean hulls, more than just co-products of soybean crushing, are strategic products that complement the Group’s portfolio.
– With an investment of US$ 330 million in the first phase, the industrial plant will generate 250 direct jobs and 3 thousand indirect positions.
– As the Potencial Group’s largest investment, the project reinforces the company’s plans to become a leader in the biodiesel production sector.
One of the direct effects on the economy is the reduction of production costs for animal feed on Paraná farms, as the state is the largest producer of poultry and runner-up for swine in national rankings.
